Here’s two audio Bible tools for you. Interestingly, they are both called “Pod Bibles.” The first is a Podcast, but you can listen to the Scriptures from their site. Play these during teaching times to add a new dimension to the Scriptures.
The second is a readable Bible for your iPod. It uses the “Notes” portion of the iPod firmware. Read it on the train, in a plane, in the car (while not driving), in the bathroom (don’t drop it in), use with an impromptu devotion at camp…whatever!

A ministry called Faith Inkubators has a unique game site called FaithInk Games. They are pretty cool and a great resource to have on ministry computers or to share with parents.

Many of you know that Child Evangelism Fellowship offers a ministry to kids called the CEF Mailbox Club. You probably didn’t know that the Mailbox Club is not just a CEF ministry, but a ministry for any kid anywhere. this is something you can make available to your kids and families, especially as a follow up to their decision for Christ.

Amanda Cooley
…from Cresset Baptist in Durham, NC which is coincidentally my town of ministry!
I promise, there was no rigging, I randomly selected the winner through the Interactive Fruit Machine.
Here’s a screenshot for the skeptics! Amanda (the winner) is highlighted in orange.

You can, however, still get a discount on the Handbook and a Kidology membership. Just take note of the discount codes in the WGA post.

Puzzles…crafts…games…object lessons…lessons…coloring pages…skits.
Sound good?
Then go to Kids Sunday School Place. You can pay them for a membership, but they have a load of stuff that is free. Go for it and if you can, support their ministry with a membership or a donation!

I took a little break for Thanksgiving. Thanks for hanging with me. I’m so excited. The site is growing! The feeds are growing! My content is growing! Thanks for being a faithful reader!
To continue my Keep Your Focus series, a series dedicated to resources that can help our spiritual growth, I wanted to make you aware of some great Bible studies. Grace Bible Church of College Station, TX has put some publication quality Bible studies online. You could go through these studies for a couple of years and not have to buy a bible study.

This one is for my scholar friends out there! Check out GreekStudyBible.org. You can read the Greek, plus 4 other translations (pretty much any of them) side by side. You can parse words, see detailed meanings, make study notes, and cross reference with an exhaustive Greek concordance. This site is an extremely versatile and user friendly tool. Even if you have the most basic knowledge of the Greek language, it is helpful!

Today, I bring you Examen.me.

This is an online devotional site which allows spiritual growth through the following three arenas:
- Scripture reading and mediation
- Prayer guides
- Journaling
You have to sign up with a free account to access it. I have to say that it is a very neat concept and its interface is user friendly. However, if you are like me, and you love to have the actual book in front of you with real pen and paper, this site most likely won’t be used much. I did want to make it known to my more “tech-minded” followers out there who may be able to foster a great amount of spiritual growth using this avenue.
Have you used this before? Do you know of any similar sites? Comment below!

A couple of years ago, a friend let me know about a unique ministry called Talks for Growing Christians. This site has some very straightforward Bible teachings which can be streamed or downloaded. I also like that they provide lesson notes and questions to consider as you listen along. You could easily turn this into your daily Bible study.
