Yeah, so I thought that I’d be able to post a few devotions for you this week, but it’s not happening. I barely have time for this one!
I’ll be back in action next week. Now, I’ve got my kids at Triangle Kids Camp, an effort from several other CP’s in my area and myself. It’s turning out to be a pretty rockin’ camp. Check it out at the website and see some of the pics on the parent page. If you want to know how to start your own camp, just give me a buzz, we’ve learned a lot this year as a team!

We have an incredible week of VBS at my church this week. Needless to say, I’m not up for posting! While Free CM Stuff basks in the relaxing peace of the web-iverse, I’ll be hugging sweaty kids, loosing my voice, getting slimed, putting out fires, and crashing on my bed each night this week!

Now that this site is a year old and I have a ton going on in my life, I am re-evaluating my priorities. I am a few weeks away from walking across the stage to receive my Doctor of Education, 8 months into the international adoption process, growing in my ministry at Grey Stone, and desiring to grow as a writer. Whew…I get tired just thinking about it! Anyway, I definitely want to accomplish things for the Kingdom, but I also want to be a good husband and father.
I have previously been posting 3 times per week, but God is doing so much in my life that I am going to be cutting that back to twice per week. I still have give aways lined up and lots of content to bring you in the coming months. Here are two things coming down the pipeline that I am very excited about:
- Expanding the Leadership Nugget series to introduce innovative ideas I have tried or heard of that have produced significant fruit.
- A unique way for the CM community to share physical (not downloads) resources with each other.
I hope that you will still stick with Free CM Stuff and that you will help me to grow the readership base. Tell all your CM friends that we are a growing place on the web for free children’s ministry resources!

This blog has been going now for over 6 months and I’m so excited that you count me worthy of being a resource provider for you. I’m going to be taking about a 2 week break to enjoy time with family as well as attend CPC in Nashville.
