I’m keeping it short today!

In a pinch or need to supplement your lesson? Go check out Calvary Chapel’s Curriculum. It is quite a nice collection of Old and New Testament lessons.

kidology open source

Hey, you want 3 years worth of free curriculum? Well, then go right now and download all of Kidology’s Open Source Curriculum. I’m jealous…I wish I would have thought of this. You can download it for free (just register on the site), add to it your own flavor, then upload it back to the site for others to see. It is truly “open-source” curriculum! Great job Karl! And thanks for the shout outs!

praise factory

If you are up for taking your kids through 1 year of systematic theology (yes, even preschoolers!), then check out Praise Factory. This is a free curriculum (they ask for a small donation if your church is able) that is a ministry out of Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington, DC. It is the church of Mark Dever and the home of 9 Marks.

This curriculum contains one year each for 2/3 year olds, 4/5 year olds, and elementary students. I have not used this personally, but it comes from Mark Dever’s wife, so I know it would be theologically sound.

  1. Articles
  2. Daily Bible readings
  3. Free downloadable NET Bible (a very good translation)
  4. Adult curriculum and Bible study courses
  5. Self study theology courses

Take a look at it and bookmark it!

If you have not stumbled upon Max 7 yet, you are really missing out. They have forms, curriculum, audio and videos. You must take a look at the video: Aim Lower. If your pastor would let you show it in “Big Church” during recruitment time, you should take him up on it!

I’ve been at camp this week, so not much time to comment. Want some free curriculum and puppet skits? Check out Fishers of Kids.

Note: I’ve found that even if I do not use sites like this to establish my entire scope of curriculum, I can often use it to accentuate other lessons I might be organizing or children’s sermons I am writing.
